Since 9 years of age Kayo Macarthy has enjoyed juicing with his parents in the kitchen weekly, and The Macarthys are always exploring different juice recipes together.The inception of Joy Root didn't actually start with cold-pressed Juice, instead Kayo had the idea to start a lemonade stand in front of his house using all natural cane sugar and fresh squeezed lemons to make the neighborhoods most delicious lemonade.The feedback was great and demand was off the charts!After this success he decided to transition from lemonade to cold-press juicing with no added sweeteners or preservatives, plenty of nutrients, and great taste.He bottled up his favorite juice recipes, and made his first sales at a Holiday party to family and friends.
